Dr. Kennard Herring
Dr. Kennard L Herring was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He graduated from New York Technical College as a licensed optician before deciding to pursue a career in optometry. He completed his doctorate degree at Salus University in 2014. He is currently the proud owner of Nostalgic Eyecare which opened 3 years post graduation in 2017.
Dr. Herring is also a graduate of Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program, Powerup Your Business Program, his is a member of the National Optometric Association, a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated, and due to his expertise in private practice he has earned a position as an adjunct at his alma mater Salus University where he oversees and teaches the private practice course.
Dr. Crystal Partee
Dr. Crystal Partee was born and raised in Decatur, Ga. She completed her doctoral degree in 2013 at Indiana University School of Optometry. She has worked in several modes of practice including ophthalmology, corporate, and private practices. Prior to optometry school she worked as an eyewear consultant and as an apprentice optician.
She is also a certified mindful change coach where she focuses on mindset to help her clients achieve their future goals. Dr. Partee is also a member of the National Optometric Association, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, and Toastmaster International. In her spare time, she enjoys playing sports, walking on nature trails, and photography.
